For this project, I created a playlist of 10-15 songs on Spotify and created artwork that could live in the Spotify interface. My playlist, Girl Power, included feel good songs by some of my favorite powerful female artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Alanis Morsette, Cyndi Lauper, and Shania Twain. I create the artwork using the duotones to mimic the style that Spotify’s artwork usually takes on and a silhouette of Beyoncé because she is recognizable by her fans but for others she simply represents a powerful female figure.
